If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you must not use our services.
- Prohibited Uses Generally
You must not use Breakdown Takedown's services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by this Policy. This includes, but isn't limited to, activities that violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation in the United States. Here is what that means:
Illegal Activities: You can't use our services to engage in, promote, or facilitate any illegal activities. This covers things like fraud, money laundering, or distributing illegal substances. Harmful Content: Don't post or transmit content that is defamatory, libelous, harassing, abusive, threatening, obscene, vulgar, or otherwise objectionable. This includes hate speech, discrimination, or content that incites violence. Intellectual Property Infringement: You must respect intellectual property rights. Do not upload, post, or otherwise transmit any content that infringes on the copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights of any party. This applies to images, text, software, and any other media. Privacy Violations: Do not collect, store, or publish personally identifiable information of others without their express consent. This includes things like names, addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses. Misrepresentation and Impersonation: You must not impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity. Don't create misleading identities.
- User Account Responsibilities
When you create an account on Breakdown Takedown, you're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information. This includes your username and password. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you authorized them. You agree to notify Breakdown Takedown immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We can't be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.
- User-Generated Content (UGC)
Breakdown Takedown allows users to post comments, submit reviews, and upload various forms of content. This user-generated content is a valuable part of our community. But here is the thing: you are solely responsible for all content you create, upload, post, or otherwise make available through our services. This means:
Content Standards: Your UGC must not violate any part of this Policy, including the prohibited uses outlined above. It must be accurate, complete, and not misleading. Rights to Content: You must have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and share your UGC. By posting content, you grant Breakdown Takedown a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that content in connection with the operation of our services. Monitoring and Removal: We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, edit, or remove any UGC at our sole discretion, without notice, for any reason or no reason, including if we believe it violates this Policy. Examples: If you upload a review, ensure it's your original work or you have permission to use any third-party elements. Don't post copyrighted music in the background of a video you upload without proper licensing.
- AI-Generated Content
Our services may incorporate or allow for the generation of content using artificial intelligence. While AI can be a powerful tool, you remain responsible for any content generated through or with the assistance of Breakdown Takedown's AI features. This means:
User Responsibility: You must review and verify the accuracy and legality of any AI-generated content before using or publishing it. You bear the full responsibility for ensuring such content complies with this Policy and all applicable laws. Prohibited AI Use: Do not use our AI features to generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise violates this Policy. For example, using AI to generate hate speech or to create deepfakes without consent is strictly prohibited. Transparency: Where required by law or good practice, you should disclose that content was generated by AI, especially if it could be mistaken for human-created content.
