Elements & Hierarchy

Everything you plan is an "element." Elements nest inside other elements, forming a tree from goals down to individual tasks.

What an element can be

• A milestone — a high-level goal with a date.
• A deliverable — a body of work that produces an artifact.
• A task — a single unit of work with an estimate and an assignee.
• A series — a repeating piece of work with a cadence.

Common properties

• Title and description.

Working with the tree

Use the Tree view on the left of the organization page to drag and re-parent elements. Selecting an element opens its detail page where you can edit any property, add children, or set dependencies.
